Alas that neither the title (the Wonderful Garden) or the alternate title (the Three C's) really do the book justice. It's worth noting any number of times that a particularly superbly read audio version of this book is available through LibriVox thanks to Ruth Golding, which is fortunate as it's not quite the easiest book to obtain otherwise/5.

We have most of the Nesbit books here but apparently not this one, so I downloaded it (with illustrations!) for a buck on Kindle, figuring that was a pretty good deal to satisfy my whim.
